It was a busy morning in the US state of Massachusetts when two people died after being trapped inside a car on a busy Massachusetts highway.
The two men, who were both from Massachusetts, died when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on a rural section of I-93 in Boston, according to a news release from the Massachusetts State Police.
The incident occurred on the back of an eight-passenger pickup truck on the interstate in Boston on Saturday morning.
The victims, identified as Nicholas J. and Ryan M. were traveling to their home in Plymouth, Massachusetts, when the crash happened.
The Massachusetts State police said the two were travelling at a speed of approximately 80 kilometres per hour (50 miles per hour).
The incident is under investigation by the Massachusetts Division of Criminal Investigation.
